"Whilst not the most scenic looking of distilleries, it is in my opinion, the most scenically located; practically hanging off of a sloping, easterly-facing cliff edge with unforgettable views over the Sound of Islay and the Paps of Jura.

This is my most ambitious isometric distillery drawing to date. Measuring 60 cm wide, it took over 100 hours to complete and encompasses the entire Caol Ila site, excluding the cottages. It includes the Victorian-era warehouse, the 1970s ‘car showroom’ stillhouse, and the latest features from the Four Corners of Johnnie Walker visitor centre upgrades. Can you spot the 12 seals relaxing on the rocks and swimming in The Sound?"
